If you have been following me for a while, you know that I have a tendency to be a wee bit indecisive about design decisions for myself. So much so, everything happens at the last hour in one big glorious creative rush.
The fun part about that- it is like my days working as Production Designer on HGTV shows where we truly only had 48-hours to get an entire home camera ready. The bad news- sometimes you need to pivot and make decisions based on lead time and availability.
So in my case, because I did not make my mind up in time, the built in storage that I had imagined for my kids’ playroom won’t be happening in time for the reveal. But what this did was led to making some other decisions that I think is going to serve the space for the better (and built-ins can always happen later).
WE’RE GOING GREEN
If you remember my bedroom makeover, I am a little obsessed with Urban Wall Decal. I am using this Emerald Brush Stroke product over EVERYTHING lol and I cannot wait.
To pick up on the green in the decals I’ve picked up these gorgeous green chairs. These are going to be really fun for my kids to swivel lol.
And instead of a built in unit, I get to use something I have had on a vision board for a really long time- a wooden tv easel!!!
That’s the design update this week- in other news, look at the little angels who will get to enjoy this space:
